Event planners value the benefit of providing attendees with a permanent reminder of their event experience—a high quality formal portrait. Year after year client's re-book The Annapolis Photographer to shoot their events and provide every attendee with a permanent reminder for these reasons:
- Our high-speed event photography is studio quality
- We raise the excitement level at the event with little or no involvement by planner or owner
- Positive feedback from attendees results in repeat engagements for the planner and repeat attendance for the event owner
How We Work
After an initial consultation to understand your goals, the event specifics and the composition of attendees, we provide you with a proposed plan and quotation for providing high-speed event formals. The typical client includes the portrait in the price of attendance. This has several key benefits:
- All attendees receive a portrait
- Attendees pay less for portraits
- You add value to the price of attendance for a small investment
- The throughput in and out of the portrait area is accelerated as there is no payment station
Alternatively, you may elect to pay a flat fee for The Annapolis Photographer to set-up for the event and split the profits from the sale of portraiture. This model works for larger events that span a longer period of time…in excess of 500 attendees over a period of time greater than 4 hours.
What We Deliver
We provide green screen backdrops and themed backgrounds that are electronically inserted at the time a portrait is taken by specialized event software. This allows you to have the perfect background and foreground for your event portraits. We create the backgrounds and foregrounds for you at no cost. Alternatively, we also work with themed backdrops and sets.
Clients view their session immediately and choose the perfect shot. We print 5X7 photographs, insert them in matted folders and then seal them in plastic pouches. Attendees retrieve their portraits upon exiting the venue.

Consider doing a photo-booth plus event candids. Offer the sale of hardbound photo books to attendees. There are a lot of creative combinations.
Inaugural Special | Book Formals and Get a Hardbound Event Book
In honor of the Presidential Inauguration, The Annapolis Photographer is offering event planners bonus coverage of the event with one of our roving event shooters when we are booked for the event formals. These images will be presented in a bound photo book and on a DVD for usage as you please...website, publication, press releases.
